Let us keep celestial skills now
With the addition of the new PvE skills, I was wondering if it'd be possible for ANet to make it so that we can keep the celestial skills that Kuunie gives us if we beat factions with that char? They might need a little bit of a tweaking to make it worth being on the skill bar outside of those two missions, but I think it'd be nice if we were allowed to keep something similar to the existing celestial skills.

Good god no. Celestial skills in the abbadon fight for example would be ridiculously powerful (since you get a morale boost every 30 seconds or so).
PvE does not need to be dumbed down anymore.

Make them PvE only, make them operate like res sigs (one-shot wonder, rechargeable via a morale boost)... perhaps make their use restricted to HM only...?

I've personally never liked the "idea" of HardMode. So the enemies have double recharge time, double casting time, and move twice as fast? I feel more effort could have been put forth, but I'm thankful for what I get.
As for the Celestial Skills, I feel putting them in HardMode would dissapoint a vast number of people. With the double-time the enemies do, adding CSkills will just make it easier and then it's not really "HardMode" anymore... Kinda a "ALittleHardButDon'tWorryIt'sKindaEasyTooMode" .
Yeah. That made no sense, but whatev.
As for NormalMode, I'm impartial. It's suppose to be for peeps who just want to play and have fun, so whatev.
(I actually think PvE skills should not be allowed in HM, but that's just me. )

Sure, why not. It's not like you have to use it, if you feel it makes the game too easy.

Hawk, I was thinking giving them a power nerf since kuunie wouldn't be around and make them elite but in return you could use them more often. I'm figuring a 2 minute recharge like the derv forms sounds about right.

/not signed, mostly because, like some others, I think normal mode is easy enough as it is, and what is the point in there being a Hard Mode if they keep implementing ways of making it 'easier'?

placebo, you don't have to bring those skills if you don't want to and expect more of it when GWEN comes out.

Not until they give unique Celestial Skills to Dervishes and Paragons.
Once they make so, I would agree to have a quest to get them permanently.
A somehow hard quest.

/signed. Its a shame you can only use these in three areas.
But like someone said, make an additional quest or at least completely beat factions.

I would find the celestial skills only affiliated with the campaign...
The skills that Kuunavang gives us to to combat Shiro.
Something about Nightfall with the Lightbring stuff (haven't got that far yet) is to combat Abbadon.
Having it outside of that seems superfluous game-play wise...
Sorry, I can't go with this one.

A long chain of quests (long as in 3-4 quests) would be suitable imo. Something like maybe, clearing the last of the Afflicted /Shiroken from Cantha.

Their monster skills, which are temporarily shared with us by the all powerfull Dragon thing! It wouldnt make sense to let us have it perminantly!
And their extremely overpowered, and would make any pve very easy!
Personally, I've never understood why we have them anyway. They seem a bit gimicy. They just make supposedly hard, endgame missions easier.
I never use them, and I've always managed!

/notsigned, most of them are super powered and would take alot of fun out of the game.
Storm of swords and the Ele skill would become staple Solo farming skills.
